Shoot Out

It’s time to prepare for the Sixth Annual LCS Shoot-Out! Over the years, the Shoot-Out has provided substantial resources for the LCS Tuition Assistance Fund. Due to the downturn in the US economy, the need for tuition assistance has increased—twenty-six students enrolled at LCS this year received tuition assistance. We are able to help these students due to your generous participation in events like this.

The Shoot-Out is a great time for both beginner and experienced shooters; a day of family fun, prizes, food, and competition. Based on the success of the ladies’ division last year, we will be incorporating a ladies’ division this year as well. And… we’re adding a Middle School division for students age 13 and under.

Plan to join us on Saturday, October 31, beginning at 8:00 a.m. From 8:00 to 9:00 we will open the range for practice. At 9:00 the competition will begin. The Shoot-Out is co-sponsored by Mainstay Technologies (www.mstech.com) and by the Pemigewassett Valley Fish and Game Club. It takes place at the Pemi Fish and Game trap range. Detailed directions are available at the club’s website (www.pemi.org).

Whether you are a seasoned shooter, new to trap shooting, or just want to be part of the fun, we have a place for you. You can participate as a…

• Fundraising Competitor by asking friends and family to sponsor you for the Shoot-Out. (Registration fee is only $35 if you raise over $100)
• Competitor by simply joining us for a day at the trap range. (Registration fee is only $75)
• Donor to the Tuition Assistance Fund, even if you’re unable to join us. (Response card enclosed)
• Sponsor by helping a participating fundraiser reach his or her goal.
• Volunteer by promoting the event or helping with registration and refreshments on the day of the Shoot-Out.
