Vision Statement

Statement of Faith

We believe…

  • The Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative, inerrant Word of God
  • There is one God, eternally existent in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit
  • In the deity of Christ, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of God, and His personal return in power and glory
  • In the absolute necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit for salvation because of the exceeding sinfulness of human nature and that humans are justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood of Christ and that only by God’s grace and through faith alone are we saved
  • In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, that people are saved unto the resurrection of life and that they are lost unto the resurrection of condemnation
  • In the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ
  • In the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by whose indwelling

Auction

About the Silent Auction
The Laconia Christian School online Auction for Tuition Grants is in full swing. Online bids will be accepted until midnight, April 21, 2010. Final bidding will take place on April 22nd at the Spring Banquet at the Winnipesaukee Ballroom, Church Landing, in Meredith, NH. Items which receive no new bids at the Spring Banquet will go to the highest online bidder.

Why Tuition Grants?
At a time of escalating costs, our goal is to keep tuition as affordable as possible. Even so, tuition remains out of reach for some families who desire to enroll their children at LCS. We assist these families through Tuition Grants which are primarily funded by our annual Spring Banquet and Auction. On average, one out of three LCS students receives some form of tuition assistance.

Why an Auction?
The success of e-Bay has convinced us that auctions are fun, engaging, and profitable. It’s a “win-win” situation for school families, local businesses and for you!

It Works This Way
Many auction items are listed online and more are added daily. We accept bids via email from any interested parties. Online bidding must be received via electronic submission by midnight on April 21st. Bidders who are present at our Spring Banquet will have an opportunity to place additional bids on items until 7:30 that evening. Items won by Banquet guests must be claimed that night. Winners through the online auction will be notified by email and telephone, and are expected to pay for and pick up their items at their earliest convenience, but within a week after the auction.
